Has anyone heard anything about this project, I thought it was to have been decided by now,
Council website just has copies of the development application and I can't find anything at NSW Dept planning website..

This will be discussed at the general council meeting on Oct 18th at 6 pm in the council chambers
Here is a link to all the paperwork, including the residents' submissions which will go to the JRPP.
The waste issue is Item 5 and runs for about 150+ pages. The individual submissions are worth reading.

Also, there will be an open forum, hosted by the JRPP, on the 28th at 1:30 pm.
Individuals will have 3 minutes each to state their concerns. A group like ours will have 15.
There won't be any decisions made, that will follow later after more review by the JRPP.
Basically the issue is now being passed from Council to the JRPP.
I am not clear what the role of the other "independent" consultant is or will be which Council has hired. We also don't know who it is or how independent they really are.
Nor do we know if anyone is going to have the chance to speak with this consultant before he/she submits there report to whoever they will submit it to.
I will be leaving the country this week so any help in pursuing these issues will be appreciated by all those who are opposed to this DA.
